Title: Dissipative Decomposition and Local Stabilization of Control Affine Systems (½ hour)
Abstract: We consider the problem of constructing locally-defined dissipative potentials based on a decomposition of the drift dynamics of control affine systems. This potential is then used for the construction of stabilizing feedback controllers. Connections with classical dissipative systems theory will be drawn. Some applications will be considered to illustrate the approach.
