Advances in Representation Theory of Algebras VIII

June 15-19, 2020
Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario

ARTA 2021: An online special edition of Advances in Representation Theory of Algebras will be held in May, 2021 in honor of our colleague Andrzej Skowroński, who passed away in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please visit the website for the 2021 conference here.

ARTA VIII Postponed: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the eighth in-person edition of Advances in Representation Theory of Algebras at Queen's University will be postponed until June, 2023 (tentatively). Please expect more updates soon.

The eighth edition of the conference "Advances in Representation Theory of Algebras" (ARTA) will be held at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada from June 14 to June 18, 2021. The conference will feature talks on recent developments in the following topics:

  • Structure of finite dimensional algebras
  • Structure of module categories
  • Auslander--Reiten components
  • Homological methods in representation theory
  • Homological conjectures
  • Algebras of finite global dimension
  • Self-injective algebras
  • Tame algebras
  • Combinatorial aspects of representation theory
  • Geometry of algebras and modules
  • Homological invariants of algebras and modules
  • Triangulated categories and tilting theory
  • Relations of the above topics with Lie theory, Singularity theory, Cohen--Macaulay modules, quantum groups and other algebraic structures.
