Airport to Gare de Marseille Saint Charles

There is a bus that runs from the airport to the Gare de Marseille Saint Charles (the main train station of Marseille). There is information on the bus here.

Gare de Marseille Saint Charles to Castellane Citadine

We can arrange for someone to meet you at the train station. If you are feeling more brave (& staying in the Castellane Citadine), from there you can take the Metro 1 (blue) in the fourragère direction. You would want to get out at the Castellane stop. From there you should be able to use google.maps to get to the hotel (but please feel free to contact us for assistance). If you are taking the metro, we recommend purchasing a 10 ride card, as you will use the metro daily to get to the FRUMAM (it costs 13 euros).

Castellane Citadine to Gare de Marseille Saint Charles by Metro

You need to walk to the Castellane metro station. Take the Metro 1 (blue) in the La Rose direction. Your stop will be St. Charles (the 4th stop). There is a diagram with all the stops above each door inside the metro so that you can follow where you are. Stop names are usually written on the wall, if you look out the window. Please be aware that metro doors don't automatically open, so you need to lift the lever on the door to exit.

Castellane Citadine to Gare de Marseille Saint Charles by Walking

Suppose you are at the Castellane metro station (I am sure the hotel receptionist can tell you how to get there). You want to walk a little along Bd Baille, turn left onto Cours Lieutaud. You can just follow this all the way to the station.

Finding the FRUMAM

This can be a bit confusing, so we recommend traveling with a local. We will also have a local waiting for people next to the gate of the University at Saint-Charles each Monday 8:50am-9:00am and 8:40am-9:50am.
