he Workshop's social program starts with an opening reception for all participants in the Bellevue Ballroom of The Holiday Inn from 6:00 to 8:30 on Tuesday evening, June 15, 1999. Registration materials will be available at the reception and throughout the Workshop. Included in the registration fee is a banquet dinner on Thursday, June 17 at 7:00 pm at the Roof Garden Dining Room of The Holiday Inn. Additional banquet tickets may be purchased for $50 (Cdn.) each. During the banquet, Ron Brunet, the new Business Development Manager of CITO will be introduced, and the 1999 Canadian Award in Telecommunications will be presented.
he annual meeting of the Canadian Society for Information Theory will take place on Thursday, June 17 at 5:30 pm at the St Lawrence Suite of the Holiday Inn.
he technical program commences on Wednesday, June 16 at 9:00 am. All lectures will be held in the Bellevue Ballroom of The Holiday Inn and will run from 9:00 am to 5:50 pm on Wednesday, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on Thursday, and from 9:00 am to 12:50 pm on Friday. The Advance Program is now available.
