It rained. However we are a hardy bunch and did not cancel the picnic. We just ate indoors.
By having an early picnic I hoped everyone would see the spring flowers
at their best. However what attracted the most attention was a fungus
on some of my dwarf junipers.
It appears to be cedar-apple rust, or a close relative thereof.
The spring flowers were out, but one had to brave the wet to see them.
