Homework:
Doing the assigned exercises is vitally important — to learn mathematics, one must solve problems. Nevertheless, homework will not be collected or graded. Exercises are posted in PDF on the lectures webpage. Your browser can be trained to open these files with the free program Acrobat Reader (or other PDF viewer). Solutions will also be available on the lectures webpage.
Calculators:
Only the Casio 991 model calculator (or one with a gold or blue sticker) may be used during the quizzes and exam.

Students with disabilities, who will be taking this course and may need disability-related accommodations, are encouraged to make an appointment to see the instructor as soon as possible. Also, please contact the Disability Services to register for support services.
