I am a mathematical biologist specializing in evolutionary biology. My research focuses on developing theory to explain the evolution of the genotypic and phenotypic attributes of individual organisms, as well as the evolution of intra- and inter-specific interactions between these organisms. I am also interested in testing theory in collaboration with other researchers using a variety of experimental and correlative techniques. I have very broad interests within this area of research, but currently my group has four main topics of focus:

  1. Evolutionary Medicine
  2. Epigenetic and Nongenetic Inheritance
  3. Sexual Conflict/Sexual Selection
  4. Genomic Conflicts and Imprinting
